With school out of session, summer has finally come to a start. Well summer offers a break from school, for me it also offers a break to my skin. During the summer I adopt a much lighter and more natural makeup look, less focused on looking my best, and more focused on feeling my best. Below you’ll find all the steps to my everyday summer makeup look, and hopefully find some new products you’ll love.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe,Cucumber, and Green Tea $7
This mini bottle claims to “invigorate dull, tired skin” and it definitely sticks to it’s claim. Infused with aloe, cucumber, and green tea, this spray is perfect to prime and refresh before makeup, and to cool off throughout the day.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick $36
This little stick offers pretty much no coverage, but it sure does fill pores. It smoothes out your face and has a completely weightless bare-faced feel, while giving your skin a “your face but better” look. I use this alone on good skin days, and underneath my cc cream on days when I want a fuller coverage look.
it cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream, Medium $38
Man that’s a mouthful, but trust me when I say this is by far the best cc cream I’ve ever used. It has a sheer coverage, but is easily bendable. The cream also features spf, and not just any spf, but spf 50. With the heat and sun exposure in summer this is an awesome feature that saves a step in your morning routine.
e.l.f. Eyebrow Kit, Medium $3
This kit comes in at a whopping $3. A cheap alternative to Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade, this product has two sides. The first is a waxy brow taming pomade, the other is a lighter colored powder, which I use to set my brows afterwards.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara $23
