With it being mid September, I figured it’s about time to start making some progress on my fall bucket list. The fall is by far my favorite season, it’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. Normally there’s no humidity and there’s tons of cute photo ops. Without further ado, here’s my fall bucket list. Also, check down below for a downloadable list version!
1. Go Apple Picking
Apple picking is a staple of the early fall. Go with your friends and family and get some of your favorite apples. If you can, get extra so that you can make apple pie or cider.
2. Go to the Pumpkin Patch
3. Go through a corn maze
Corn mazes are one of the most popular fall activities. Long gone are the days of simple, basic corn mazes, now many places even have mazes that make pictures. If you’re more of a horror fan, see if any local corn mazes have haunted night mazes.
4. Carve Pumpkins
Many grocery stores sell easy kits for pumpkin carving. I always find an image online and draw it out on my pumpkin before carving it.
5. Dress up for Halloween
6. Have a Horror Movie Marathon
Try classics like Silence of the Lamb, Halloween, and Saw. If horror isn’t quite your cup of tea, no worries! Try looking for more fun loving Halloween movies, like The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown or the Halloweentown movies.
7. Host a halloween party
While many of us are past the days of trick or treating, we never outgrow our desire for costumes and candy. Gather all you friends up and host a cute Halloween party. Make some Halloween themed snacks (like these blood bag drinks or frankenstein suckers) and have a costume competition. You can even give out prizes to the winners.
9. Go on a fall picnic
10. Host Friendsgiving
Feel free to make friendsgiving a potluck. Have each friend bring their family’s staple thanksgiving food to help split up the cooking. If you don’t have a favorite check out some of the thanksgiving recipes I love like these pumpkin peanut butter layer brownies or these healthy pumpkin cheesecake bites.
11. Decorate for the holidays
There is always tons of cute holiday decorations at target, homegoods, and even the dollar store.
